Danish Immigration Museum is located in Farum, a suburb of Copenhagen and is a relevant and modern museum of the history of immigration to Denmark.
Members of the museum’s staff are currently busy preparing and developing a new permanent exhibition. The exhibition will provide visitors with an insight into the people who, in the course of history, have come to Denmark. In the first half of 2010, the museum will move to a new central location at Farum Cultural Centre. Here the museum will have plenty of room and will be neighbour to a cinema, a gallery, a library and a music school.Until then, you can follow the development of the museum and the exciting work of the museum staff here on this web site. If you want to know more, you can also sign up to receive the museum’s newsletter or ring and talk to one of the museum’s curators.Danish Immigration Museum is a part of the state authorised Furesø Museums, which also runs local museums, local archives and city archives.
